Apollo Assist – Precision Meets Control
Apollo Assist introduces a dynamic precision zone, as visualized in the device monitor plotter. In the graph:
- The blue line represents your raw right stick input (RY input).
- The red line represents the modified right stick output (RY output).
How It Works
The precision zone, highlighted by the dip in the red line compared to the blue line, temporarily reduces the sensitivity of your right stick. This allows for greater precision when aiming, particularly in critical scenarios like tracking moving targets or lining up long-range shots.
Key Features:
- Precision Zone Adjustment:
- The precision zone is centered around the midpoint of your right stick movement.
- You can customize the width of this zone using specific values for:
- Short Range: For larger stick movements, ideal for close-quarters aiming.
- Long Range: For fine micromovements, perfect for sniping or precise adjustments.
- Moving Targets: For tracking targets while continuously pushing the stick.
- A higher value expands the precision zone, starting earlier and ending later within the stick’s range of motion.
- Dynamic Sensitivity Reduction:
- Within the precision zone, the script dynamically reduces sensitivity, enhancing your ability to aim accurately without sudden or unintended large movements.
- The sensitivity reduction is preconfigured for balance and does not require in-game adjustments. However, if it feels too restrictive, you can fine-tune your in-game sensitivity as needed.
- Zone Reduction
- The zone reduction value is the value you set to determine how much decreased / increased sensitivity you will apply when you are within the precision zone.
- The idea is so that you have more control when you are within the precision zone , you can simply set the amount of precision you want.
- The higher the value , the more increased sensitivity you have , the lower value is for decreased sensitivity.
- Seamless Transition:
- Sensitivity adjusts automatically based on how much you move the stick. For example:
- Small stick movements: Ideal for long-range precision.
- Larger stick movements: Retains fluidity for short-range tracking.
- Enhanced Aim Assist:
- Each zone dynamically interacts with the aim assist radius and speed. As the precision zone narrows, the radius and speed of aim assist are reduced, providing a smoother, more controlled aiming experience.
