Cronus Zen Clean Up Tool

The Cronus Zen clean up “Scrub Zen” procedure is probably something you may need to do when re-programming scripts/game packs. Generally what happens is if you re-program scripts/game packs you may have issues when using the zen if you have performed re-programming to the ZEN a few times without having done it for a while.

Starting from Zen Studio v1.2.1 BETA 119 you can now do this directly within Zen Studio software.
2nd November 2022.
If you’re running Cronus Beta, there is a different path this is purposefully different from the public version to keep them separate. See Cronus Zen Studio Beta Update Procedure.

  1. Open Zen Studio
  2. Go to the “Device” tab.
  3. Select “Erase Memory Slots
  4. After this has completed then select “Factory Reset
  5. Close Zen Studio, disconnect the Cronus Zen from PC for 30 seconds and try again.

If you’re still having issues it’s then recommended to Scrub Zen.

  • Close Zen Studio (If you’re unable to open – just skip this)
  • Run the Scrub Zen Tool (it’s free) – Won’t work if using Beta.

  • See if the issue still happens.
